Ron C. Bendlin

President & Chief Executive Officer Ron Bendlin has served as President & Chief Executive Officer of TCOM since 2012 and is a member of the Board of Managers. TCOM is a global leader in developing elevated systems for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions using lighter-than-air platforms. Mr. Bendlin oversees the development of next-generation solutions for defense, homeland security, emergency response, and law enforcement missions for the U.S. government and allied nations.

Work History & Experience 

Previously, Mr. Bendlin held multiple positions within the TCOM Engineering Team where he was responsible for leading research, design, and product development. For over 30 years, he has directly supported the defense industry by integrating surveillance payloads including radars, cameras, and sensors into elevated and autonomous platforms. Throughout this period, TCOM developed, tested, and fielded platforms flying from 1,000 feet to over 15,000 feet with integrated sensors weighing over 10,000 pounds.

Education

Mr. Bendlin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science in Technical Management from Johns Hopkins University. In addition, he completed Cornell University’s Executive Development Program at the Johnson School of Management.
