TCOM Secures Landmark $600M+ Defense Contract to Strengthen NATO’s Eastern Flank

Major award positions company for significant growth while delivering next-generation persistent surveillance capabilities to the Polish Armed Forces

Columbia, MD — TCOM, the global leader in elevated surveillance solutions, today announced one of the largest contract awards in the company’s history—a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program valued at more than $600 million to deliver Airspace and Surface Radar Reconnaissance (ASRR) Aerostat Systems to the Polish Armed Forces.

Awarded through the U.S. Army’s PAE C2/CC2 Office, the program strengthens Poland’s ability to detect, track and respond to airborne, maritime and ground threats through persistent elevated surveillance. The award also reinforces TCOM’s leadership in delivering advanced surveillance capabilities that help allied nations address an increasingly complex security environment.

The systems combine TCOM’s proven aerostat platform with advanced, open-architecture Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar and electronic warfare capabilities. Together, they provide continuous early warning, long-range tracking, and real-time situational awareness while integrating seamlessly into existing command-and-control architectures.

“This award reflects the confidence our customers place in TCOM’s technology and our people,” said Ron Bendlin, President and CEO of TCOM. “Persistent surveillance has become a critical capability for modern defense, and we are proud to support the Polish Armed Forces with a combat-proven solution that strengthens regional security while reinforcing the longstanding defense partnership between the United States and Poland.”

The award also represents a significant investment in TCOM’s future. To support execution of the program, as well as continued growth across the business, the company expects to add highly skilled professionals across engineering, manufacturing, software development, systems integration, logistics, and program management.

“This program marks an exciting new chapter for TCOM,” Bendlin added. “As global demand for persistent surveillance from the surface to the stratosphere continues to accelerate, our investment in people, capabilities, and innovation reflects our commitment to delivering for customers while building rewarding careers for the next generation of talent.”

The program will be executed in compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), ensuring all systems, software, and services provided are fully compliant with U.S. export controls.
